Well, peach season started as quick and peachy as it ended, and we’d like to say THANK YOU to everyone who came out to pick at the farm! 🍑

This season was early, short, and busy but we had a great time seeing all of our regular farm friends, new faces, and enjoying the unusually beautiful weather we don’t normally see during peach season! ☀️ Who knew we’d be wearing sweatshirts and braving the rain to kick off our summer season?!

A big thanks to our friends at Lovebird Coffee | Chico State, Denine, and P.S. Farms for also making our season that much sweeter and more fun! ☕️🧁🌼

It’s always special to see more and more people discover the farm and we’re grateful to be a part of our community’s summer traditions. 🤍The farm is officially CLOSED FOR THE 2026 SEASON—please do not come out as there is no fruit left to pick—and our farmers will be popping out to enjoy some much-deserved tacos a little more often! 🌮

Hiya, farm friends and peach lovers! 🍑 After our busiest Friday to date at the farm, we’ll officially be open tomorrow, Saturday, July 4th for our LAST DAY of the 2026 season! (We’ll be closed on Sunday). Pop by for a peachy holiday morning of picking and Lovebird Coffee | Chico State coffee! ☕️🤍

We plan to be open our normal 7:30-12:00 (arrive by 11:30) hours tomorrow depending on how much fruit is left to pick, but stay tuned to our social media for updates before you head out!

It’s been a busy and quick season this year and we appreciate everyone that’s come out to pick and enjoy mornings at the farm with us and your understanding of our hours that are always fully subject to mother nature and amount of available fruit!

If we don’t see you tomorrow, enjoy your holiday weekend and we’ll catch ya next year! ☀️

There’s a lot we do for fun out on the farm 😂🍑

But really, we *love* Kevin and don’t actually throw things at him. Especially fruit. This is our silly little way to remind everyone to please NOT throw or waste our fruit and pick wisely! Ask L or T for the best pickin’ tips when you come out! And while you’re at it, thank your local Kevin just for being Kevin 😆 see you out at the farm, friends!

The Gene Elbertas and Flavor Tops are *just* starting to ripen. So, it’s important to remember with all the fruit to:
📢 PICK WISELY AND CAREFULLY!
Please don’t waste fruit by picking things that aren’t ripe.
📢 PICKING THE COMING RIPE VARIETIES TAKES MORE ATTENTION & PRECISION TO SELCT RIPE FRUIT.
Please pay attention to young pickers who may need more support or direction selecting their fruit.
📢 PICK BY COLOR, NOT BY FIRMNESS!
You’re looking for deep reds and oranges all the way around the fruit to determine ripeness. If you like your fruit softer off the tree, just leave it on the counter to ripen for a day or so, but ripe fruit does not mean super soft fruit.
📢 DON’T SQUEEZE THE FRUIT!
Seriously. This makes both L+T so sad and bruises the fruit if you squeeze and leave it on the tree. A good rule of thumb is to pick with your eyes first, hands second.

We’re hoping to be open all three days this weekend depending on customer turnout and fruit ripening, but so far, we’ll be open:

HOURS
🍑 Friday 6/26 - 7:30am-12pm (arrive no later than 11:30 for picking)
🍑 Saturday 6/27 - 7:30am-12pm (possibility of closing early depending on amount of fruit left)

We had a FUN and BUSY day out at the farm today and our ripe fruit has been picked, so we will be CLOSED this Sunday 6/21.

Don’t worry, there will still be more peaches this season—they just need a bit of time to ripen—as what’s left on the trees today isn’t quite ripe! We know our hours and open days changing can be disappointing, but we appreciate your understanding since our hours are fully at the mercy of nature, weather, and how much fruit gets picked each day!

Thank you to everyone who came out to pick this weekend—we hope you enjoy your peaches! 🍑 Stay tuned for next week’s hours and ripe varieties later this week! ☀️

We’re back for another sunny week of peach season and we’re so excited! 🍑✨Refer to our pinned post for peach season details & farm rules, but here’s what’s happening this week:

☀️HOURS ☀️
- We’re planning to be open Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:30am-12:00pm*, but all our hours are fully dependent on weather and ripe fruit availability. Check our social media before heading out to the farm to ensure we’re open!
*For days we’re open normal hours, arrive no later than 11:30am to pick—we close promptly at 12pm*
