The owners have had a long history in the craft beer business, and the 22 craft beers on tap show the depth of knowledge and beer taste that comes with years of experience and deeply rooted connections to brewers and distributors. The bar is tucked away on a busy thoroughfare downtown. It is approachable and unassuming. However, if you look deeper you can see that a lot of thought and attention to

detail came together to open this bar. You can see it from the copper tin ceiling tiles, the gorgeous wood bar and antique brick on the walls from the original building, a former brothel. The traces of brilliance are not only found in the beer menu and construction, it is also found on the menu. There are not enough words to describe how innovative, inspired, focused and refined the food offerings. The closest I can come is imagining eating at Mulvaney’s B&L or The Kitchen (in Sacramento) for one-fifth the price and in a relaxed craft beer bar. Okay, yall. We are closing sooner than planned. Tonight and tomorrow will be our last days open. We’ve got one drag show fundraiser for and , and one fundraiser for .

A lot has happened in the last 48 hours. And even more has happened in the last three years. I want to say goodbye to that. I want to pay all the staff one last time, and get one final farewell, before closing the doors for good.

For me, the most important thing about this place has been the people in it. I’ve felt most proud, most successful, when I got to see people getting to be their whole ass selves, and when I got to see the space fully transformed by people feeling safe enough to make it their own. That’s what I did this for. And that’s also why I am closing us down now.

This one goes out to the good days. And to all the weirdos that ever walked thru these doors and felt more themselves. We will find each other again. We always do.
