I don’t post pics of myself often, but here I am —the heart and hustle behind Vegan Babe!
Since launching Vegan Babe last November, my world has shifted in major ways. I’m now a single mom raising two incredible kids—one with special needs and who is a low-key genius! It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve grown a lot, and I’m proud of the lady, parent, and business owner I’m becoming.
People often ask if they can find my pastries elsewhere in Chico. The answer? A gentle no. Not because I couldn’t branch out, but because I choose to stay exclusive to the Chaihouse. There’s something special about that space—the vibe, the community—and I love being selective to that magic 💫.
Alongside Vegan Babe, I’m still running Pizza Riot, wholesaling vegan eats. It’s my way of keeping plant-based food accessible (and delicious) in this town and beyond.
I’ve also been working with Safe Space since last winter—covering overnight shifts during one of the hardest seasons we've had, being a monitor and cook at the Cooling Center this summer, and soon stepping into a new role with their upcoming day program. This work is challenging, but it’s real, and DEEPLY needed. We meet people where they are -no judgment, no red tape, just food, drinks, shelter, compassion, and support.
And most recently, I’ve independently joined forces with Chico Chai to help expand their wholesale side—because I truly believe in what they’re building, and I’m excited to help grow something so rooted in community and intention.
Oh and just for fun? I’ll be hitting the runway modeling for Chikoko on October 4th alongside my bestie! So if you want to see us smashing the runway, grab your tickets at chikoko.com—it’s gonna be a blast!
Like I said—I'm a hustling mama doing whatever it takes to build stability for my family. Every pastry, every shift, every connection—it ALL matters and I’m very, very grateful to be here. ❤️
