First and foremost, thank you to & SciTech for giving my mom and I the opportunity to speak about entrepreneurship, business, and our journeys as business owners! ❤️
I was SUPER nervous (and if you know me, you know speaking in front of people is definitely not my thing 🤣).
But after hearing the feedback and seeing how engaged the students were, I realized I had nothing to worry about.
One of my favorite moments was after we finished speaking. A group of students came up to ask questions and one of them turned her phone around and showed me she was already on my website adding items to her cart 😭💕
Then later, I received a message from one of the students telling me that hearing my story inspired her and that several other girls had been talking about starting businesses of their own.
And honestly… that meant more to me than anything.
That moment reminded me why I do what I do.
Not just to sell treats, but to show people what’s possible when you take a chance on yourself.
Yesterday, I shared the good, the bad, and the lessons I’ve learned throughout entrepreneurship. The mistakes, the setbacks, the fake orders, the growth, the opportunities, and everything in between.
Because the truth is, nobody starts as an expert.
Every business owner, creator, chef, influencer, athlete, and entrepreneur you look up to started somewhere.
Usually scared.
Usually unsure.
Usually wondering if they were good enough.
The biggest message I wanted students to leave with was this:
✨ The only thing that can stop you from achieving anything you want to, is YOU. ✨
Don’t wait until you’re ready.
Don’t wait until everything is perfect.
Don’t wait for someone else to believe in your dream first.
Start now.
Learn as you go.
Grow through what you go through.
You might just surprise yourself. ❤️🍭
Thank you again to SciTech for allowing us to have th opportunity, to everyone who listened, asked questions, and shared their dreams with us. I truly hope we inspired a few future entrepreneurs yesterday. 🥹
Same date and time next year? 🥰🥰🥰
