Never thought I’d say this but I do not like castrating pigs. I’m not cut out for it.

Good morning from our little piggie cuddle puddle and our spunky little runt. We are doing our very best to support him and I’m apprehensive to give him a name….BUT, I can’t help it. I’m rooting for him! What should we name him? Big Mamma is an incredible mother and when she accidentally stepped on him yesterday, she immediately turned to him and comforted him and took him back to the nest. He was following her around everywhere! She’s so gentle with them and super careful as she lays to nurse them. It’s such a blessing she’s such a good momma for her first litter. ❤️ Yall help me root for this little runt!

Our first litter of piglets born today!

Itty bitty teenie we**ie bacon bits born on our farm today. Our first litter of piglets. The little runt is napping how I wish I was napping. Everyone is happy, healthy, fed, and doing well so far! So glad Big Mama had her babies before the hurricane. 🌀

Caught red handed in the pig pasture. Sneaky little goat causing mischief. Big Mama and Big Red don’t seem to mind sharing their snacks with “Basil”. Guess Big Mama is preparing to mother her litter and practicing her motherly instincts.
