By the late 1950’s, Frostop Drive-Ins covered the landscape, serving millions of loyal customers with a classic burger-stand menu featuring its famous Frostop Root Beer. High school sweethearts, families and anyone looking for a refreshing treat would stop at their local Frostop to grab an ice-cold mug full of the most delicious Root Beer in America. Our original recipe infuses 22 original flavors, which we cold-brew in batches at thirty-six degrees – the exact temperature that brings out Frostop’s rich, delicious and creamy flavor. So enjoy a Frostop Root Beer served cold from the fountain at one of our original Frostop Drive-Ins, straight from our cold-batch brewed bottle, or at home in an ice-cold mug. What an incredible way to celebrate 100 years of Frostop Root Beer.

We're proud to share that Governor Mike DeWine and Lieutenant Governor Jim Tressel officially recognized June 17, 2026, as Frostop Root Beer Day in Ohio! The proclamation celebrates a century of serving America's favorite cold-brewed root beer and honoring a brand that has been bringing people together since 1926.

For 100 years, we've stayed true to our original recipe, cold-brewing in small batches and delivering the rich, creamy taste generations have loved. It's the same honest root beer that's been shared across family tables, backyard barbecues, and front porch memories.

Thank you to everyone who's made Frostop part of your family's story. Here's to the next 100 years of "What Real Tastes Like."
