The first show of the year is in the books and it sure was a good one
Jessica went to Columbia Nationals in Spencer Iowa this week and had a very good week.
Twizzler her January yearling won the futurity comeback show and was first place in class 4 of yearling ewes in the Jr show
Honey Bee was 2nd place yearling ewe in class 1 and 8th overall in the futurity show
Jolly Rancher was 1st in class 2 of yearling ewes and was reserved Sr champion ewe
Jess also won Sr showmanship and her and Emmott won team showmanship.
Also Dew Drop farms National Champion ram was sired by her fall ram from last year.
Thank you to everyone that helped her and made it a great show

The girls and Aster have made it to Ohio and are ready to go. She shows Thursday morning and then sells Friday morning. The girls want to talk to you about this ewe lamb and the future she holds, stop by, say hi, and learn more about Aster!!! Lot 40

Ohio Showcase sub entry, lot 40
The yearling ram got hurt so we are substituting in our Natural Colored Fall born ewe lamb. Take advantage of this ewe lamb, she is out of our best ewe family, I am still not really sure why Mom is selling her but she is a good one

With heavy hearts, we have to pull him from the sale, we all know that raising livestock things happen unexpectedly and he hurt himself last night and can no longer go.
Our colored yearling ram is going to Ohio, Lot 40. The kids entered him and then decided to tell Mom she was not impressed she has a VERY hard time parting with her coloreds so if you are looking for a stud buck here one is. He was second in this class last year at the All American Jr. Show.
