I’ve been referring to myself as “worthless” lately and I need to quit. Hadlee Ann has slowed me down in ways I didn’t know I needed. The most challenging but rewarding season of my life so far. I love getting to do everything with her! As always so thankful for Lane, my mom, dad, and brother for helping me keep this crazy train on the tracks.

We preach buy local, you see it everywhere. You guys don’t understand how much we truly appreciate you buying beef directly from the producer whether it’s me or someone else!! Just buy local!!

In my instance.. I’m a softy, and more so now as a mom.. I get attached to my cows (stupid, I know) but I still understand their purpose in our lives. I would rather my calf not leave the farm until the day they are hauled to be slaughtered than change hands, farms, salebarns, feed rations, etc multiple times. Not at all shaming those that do so, i do it too, I just prefer them to not leave my care. They are spoiled here, as they are many other places. Ok ok enough about me a my pet cows.🙂
