Some fun facts about Raw Milk:

There are 8 grams of protein per cup!

Raw milk has 100% bioavailability of its vitamins, enzymes, minerals, proteins, sugars and fats!

Pasturized milk has only about 50% of its vitamins bio available, its calcium is 50% less potent, fewer than 10% of its enzymes remain active, 20% of its proteins are denatured and the loss of any compromise the use of all of them, sugars like lactase are lacking to break down lactose and leads to intolerance, and all 18 fats are altered by heat.

We are lambing on the farm this week! In the last 2 days we’ve had over 20 lambs born! These little ones are some of the cutest bundles of joy as they bounce around the field behind their mommas or curl up to nap in the sunshine!

Happy Earth Day! One way we help to take care of the Earth is through rotationally grazing both our sheep and our cattle! This allows the ground to rest between grazings, and helps to cover the field with manure as a natural fertilizer without the use of diesel fuel to spread it out of a barn! How are some ways you are celebrating Earth Day this year? 🌎

Happy Wednesday! The girls are out grazing and enjoying this beautiful weather! This diverse cover mix is providing the girls with a variety of nutritious snacks as they work hard to produce A2/A2 milk that our herdshare members get to enjoy! 🥛

We are loving this cover crop mix as much as the sheep are this spring! We planted and grazed this pasture last fall and the triticale in this mix has taken off beautifully this spring! In a few short weeks we will be lambing out on this lush green mix. A thank you to for putting this mix together for us!

We hope you have a happy Saturday! We are so happy that our pasture mix is growing beautifully! Both the sheep and the cattle will be rotationally grazed through this pasture again this spring! The cattle and the sheep were rotated through last fall and early winter to graze this mix as well and loved it!
