As many of us across Missouri and beyond are watching the weather and preparing for the predicted snowstorms, we want to take a moment to encourage everyone to reach out and check on one another. Whether it’s a fellow breeder, a neighbor, or a friend in the livestock community, a simple call or message can mean a lot.

Storms like this can bring extra stress—making sure animals are cared for, facilities are secure, and families are safe. Please know you’re not alone. If you’re able, check in on those who may need a hand, extra supplies, or just some encouragement.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone preparing for or already being affected. Stay safe, stay warm, and continue to look out for each other.
