We had a great time with some Piketon students this week when they came to the farm for a visit! We got to plant, talk composting and compost tea, help move the chickens from the brooder to pasture, talk about soil health and growing food for our community in a regenerative ecosystem, had a lunch made with things from the farm, and got to spray some of the compost tea we made with our Revolution Ag drone!

Video captured from the planter tractor as we planted our soybeans into this standing rye cover crop! The number of birds circling the tractor and field were crazy! We love to see all the life in our fields and on our farm! 🐦‍⬛🪶🌱

We are trying to utilize our bakery license a little more this year and are going to have chocolate chip cookies available for purchase during our store hours later this week! We will be baking with our spelt flour for a more nutrient dense cookie! These will be available both Friday 3-5 and Saturday 9-noon! You can stop in and shop or preorder if you like! Easter Noodles for sale!

After several requests we will be offering frozen, ready to cook homemade egg noodles just in time for Easter!! These noodles are hand made with our farm fresh, pasture raised eggs! (We have also adjusted our packaging again after some of the noodles sticking together in our last batch)

Please direct message us or text us at 740-851-3297 to place your order! These will be $12 per bag by preorder only for pick up during our regular store hours! (that way we can make sure we make enough to fill all orders)

Read with your Farmer: Saturday March 21, 2026 from 10-noon!

One of our farm goals this year is to intentionally pour into our community as much as we can so we want to invite you and your kiddos out to our farm store for our Read with your Farmer event!

We will have a reading area set up for Farmer Lydia to read agriculture related books to the kids that come, an area set up with farm centered coloring pages, an area for some farm puzzles, and an assortment of agriculture related books for adults to read too!

Our farm store will be open during this time too for anyone wanting to support our family farm, though a purchase is not necessary for you to come and enjoy being a part of our farm community!

We hope to see you as we celebrate National Reading Month this March!
