I couldn't choose just one pic of her, so enjoy a few! MANDEVILLA made her show debut as a milker last Saturday at the NEODGA show with a 1st place and a 2nd place in her 2 year old class. I am very pleased with how she is maturing. As several of my does did this year, Mandy sadly had just a single buck kid, so I'll be anxiously awaiting and hoping for a doe kid next year. Mandy has been a wonderful milker and a pretty doe to look at in the pen. We butted heads initially but she has learned the routine and now we get along! I love her general appearance and her mammary is so very correct and socked on. I love that she looks like a 2 yr old, not too mature, not too immature! She should be able to hold up and stick around for a long time just like her dam and granddam who still look great at 7 and 8 yrs old.

Mariposa is one of my few retained Alpine doe kids for this year and I am a huge fan of her's! She is a little smaller than her littermate sister but that's okay, she's still almost 70 lbs at 4 months old! Mariposa will likely be left a dry yearling for 2027 but she's definitely one to watch. She was taken to SWODGA memorial day weekend and swept up all 3 jr champion wins, unfortunately we were 1 doe short of having the required 10 for a leg, so we'll just try again later!

While we haven't had the best luck with trying to start up a Toggenburg herd we finally have a pair here that are doing well! Addy was happy at NEODGA last weekend to get them both out in the ring and she finally got to show each of them in a ring while I showed the other. Unfortunately they were the only jr Toggs there but I don't think Addy minded getting the "loot" consisting of the rosettes and mugs 😆
The girls came here from Melanie Fergason and Cullen Owen and we are so thankful that they have entrusted these girls into our care! They seem to love the Saanens and use them as pillows a lot ❤️
These sweet girls have really taken a liking to Addy and claimed her!

Bought the wrong inflation inserts for the ones we have so I am offering 4 of these for sale! GEA standard sized inflations (not Nigerian ones!). Just asking what we paid for them, paid $49.95 each. They have of course never been used. I can ship them or I can bring them to any show I attend, including 2026 ADGA Nationals.

DAPHNE would be a good brood doe for someone, she milks heavy but I've only been milking her like once a day because I am trying to minimize my workload, she could easily be picked up on twice a day and milk fine. She was shown at the ODGA show in May and all 3 judges had good things to say about her, she was a single entry in her class. She behaved extremely well, like showmanship doe level good. Her feet and legs are extremely strong and correct. Level topline and nice front end assembly. Strong medial and easy to milk. She could have more overall attachment on her mammary if I had to improve something about her. I would love to try and get her placed in a new home before we leave for Nationals at the end of June!

I absolutely love when goats leave here and then go do great things in their new homes! Got news today that a really pretty 2 yr old Alpine doe I sold brought home a few grand and reserve rosettes for her new owner this weekend, ROSEWINDS KLEIN MARGUERITE. A beautiful Magnolia daughter who was very hard to let go but I needed (well, still need to) cut numbers, so I let her go.
A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Andrew Kimball and Marguerite!!

I did keep her daughter though as a consolation 😆
Marguerite's daughter was actually 1st place Intermediate kid in all 3 rings at SWODGA last weekend! She was mentioned as a reserve to my sr kid in all 3 rings as well, but a dry yearling was selected as reserve for maturity reasons, but I couldn't be more pleased with my late born Intermediate kid!

We took a few jr does and a buck over to Hillsboro, OH yesterday to the 3 ring Southwestern Ohio Dairy Goat Association show. Pretty pleased with how the goats did that we took. We did not go for sr does today.
Buck: CH Tempo Aquila Bentley EX90 VEE won Grand Champion and Best of Breed AOP in all 3 rings!

Jr Does:
- McQuitty-Farm Ike Easter was 1x Jr Grand Champion AOP and BEST JR DOE IN SHOW in ring 3!
I absolutely adore this doe kid and I really look forward to watching her continue to grow!
- Rosewinds Arapaho Dahlia 1x Reserve Champion AOP
- Rosewinds Revolution Mariposa 3x Jr Grand Champion Alpine. Unfortunately we were 1-2 does short each ring to make it official for her to get a leg.
- Rosewinds Bentley Marigold 3x 1st place Intermediate Alpine kid
