We will be making the trip down to Nashville, TN for the Nashville Fair dairy goat show and I will have my tank already, so I can bring straws with me for pickup on Saturday, September 12th. This is the furthest south I have ever gone for a show, so don't miss out on this opportunity!

Mariposa is definitely one of my favorite kids this year, I was so sad not to be able to take her to Nationals when she tore up her arm somehow but luckily now she is healed up and has hair almost completely covering where her wound was. She was finally able to make it to a couple shows now being healed up and earned her dry leg at the WV State fair, then was reserve at the Allen County fair. She's extremely long and level, she exemplifies a lot of dairy strength like her dam. It is odd for me to have a pretty little Cou Blanc in the barn but I love it!! That classic Alpine color is absolutely timeless 🤍🖤 looks a lot like her granddam Rishona if you ask me 😍

Pictured milked out at the WV State Fair for the Best Dairy Herd in show class was our Best Herd in Show at WV State Fair, but not only did they win there, we had 1st place Herd at the Ohio State Fair and Allen county fair as well! I did use a couple different does at Ohio State, but regardless, I am pleased with how my herd is maturing and I am very excited to see what the future holds for these lovely does. I have been getting some breeding attempts started and I do need to get my list out so stay tuned for that soon!!

My sweet Seraphina did it again, she was able to bring home a Best in Show rosette this weekend at Allen county fair! She filled up beautifully and she milks down to nothing, so that absolutely helped bring her to the top! I love her so much and it makes me so happy for her to accomplish what she does. She means a lot to me and was the start of a wonderful friendship with her breeder Bill Woodward. Seraphina loves to give kisses and of course she had to give me some periodically throughout the day 💜 I also had her really cleaned up and we went out and won adult Showmanship that morning! I didn't get a pic of her before I milked her out, so her WV State fair pic will have to do.

Best Udder in Show at the 2026 West Virginia State Fair GCH McQuitty-Farm Ludwig Seraphina. Seraphina has always been a favorite of mine and a lot of judges for her outstanding mammary system. It is so socked on with a long, very smoothly blended, productive foreudder, not just fat down there or extra skin! She has racked up quite a few best udder awards and even best udder in show, even if they weren't an official award at the show 😉 her oldest daughter, Saphira, is a 3 yr old this year and she hadn't had another doe kid until finally this year! She likes to give buck kids, especially single buck kids, so I was absolutely thrilled to welcome a doe kid in June, Rosewinds Marksman Serenity. She's a very stylish doe kid and has a beautiful escutcheon that will hopefully carry an udder that's socked on like Seraphina! I need to get my breeding list all put together but I've got an exciting AI planned for Seraphina this year and buck kid reservations will of course be available. I am likely not going to mess with any doe kid reservation list on anything this year because very few people actually follow through and buy something when it is offered, even when they pick the dam they're interested in.

Always adorable to see little human kids enjoying my kids at the fairs we attend each year!! We had some real cute visitors last night that helped me feed the youngest June born Alpine kids I brought along on the trip!

This little visitor found one of the cutest faces at the State Fair of West Virginia and we think she may have found her new baaa-estie! 😂

There’s nothing quite like getting up close with the animals and experiencing agriculture at the fair!

I know Zerox is a "fan favorite" for her very unique coloring, but I am a big fan of her for other reasons too 🥰 she's so dairy when you get your hands on her with her very flat, open ribbing, long bone pattern, and wedge shape. She's strong on her feet and legs with great brisket extension and a wide level topline. I was so fortunate for her to have twin doe kids this year sired by CH Tempo Aquila Bentley EX90 just 8 days before she showed at Nationals. She was able to kid on Tuesday and then begin the trek to Nationals that Friday! She bounced back amazingly and I am so happy she did. After struggling to get her settled it was a miracle to even get her bred this year. She ended up 5th place at Nationals in the 4 yr old RG class 😄

We had a pretty good Ohio State Fair show this weekend, my herd brought home the honors of Premier Breeder (exhibitor) of the AOP breed, this was the 1st year for this award to be given here! I brought several Saanen does who came together to earn this. Pretty neat as being AOP there was Oberhasli and Sables there as well, so it wasn't just Saanen exhibitors I was competing with for that.
I just want to thank everyone who lent a hand in holding, showing, and photographing goats and of course my dad and sister for helping me with everything this weekend!

Bentley is siring some very long, level offspring. They have that style that I so admire. Bentley has always been shown, earning rosettes every year, he finished his championship as a 2 yr old back in 2024 with a 3 ring best in show sweep. He came out again this year and won 5 more Grand and Best of Breed wins here in Ohio!
I will work with whoever gets the straws for transport, there's always a variety of options on how we can get these to you!
