We took a few jr does and a buck over to Hillsboro, OH yesterday to the 3 ring Southwestern Ohio Dairy Goat Association show. Pretty pleased with how the goats did that we took. We did not go for sr does today.
Buck: CH Tempo Aquila Bentley EX90 VEE won Grand Champion and Best of Breed AOP in all 3 rings!

Jr Does:
- McQuitty-Farm Ike Easter was 1x Jr Grand Champion AOP and BEST JR DOE IN SHOW in ring 3!
I absolutely adore this doe kid and I really look forward to watching her continue to grow!
- Rosewinds Arapaho Dahlia 1x Reserve Champion AOP
- Rosewinds Revolution Mariposa 3x Jr Grand Champion Alpine. Unfortunately we were 1-2 does short each ring to make it official for her to get a leg.
- Rosewinds Bentley Marigold 3x 1st place Intermediate Alpine kid
- Rosewinds Mars Zariyah x2 Jr Grand Champion Recorded Grade 1x Reserve, finally earning her leg with enough does in the breed!

Congratulations to my sister Addyson on winning senior showmanship and showman of showmen today at the South Western Ohio Dairy Goat Association show!! Her and Delilah seem to make quite the pair ❤️

I don't know that there is anything sweeter than the face of a beautiful little Saanen kid 😍
This baby was born last night, he's a big boy, very structurally correct and easy on the eyes. I'll make someone a good deal if they want a nice registered Saanen buck at a discount! His dam is a first freshener but she has a very lovely udder. He's ready to disbud and tattoo already, so he can be ready to go ASAP!

I was able to get my big handsome man out for another show Friday evening! We made the trip over to the Ohio Dairy Goat Association show and CH TEMPO AQUILA BENTLEY EX90 VEE was able to pickup another 2 GCH and BOB wins for his record (Don't worry, I didn't take any legs as it was a few bucks short of being official). I am very pleased with how he has matured over the last 4 years and what a stud he still is! He's been here since he was about 5 weeks old and I am so thankful to have him around here. He's always been stingey with the doe kids here so the daughters I have are very limited. After losing my 2 yr old, sold another, and only 1 doe kid born from him this year he can still see plenty of use. I do of course still have straws available!! Free delivery to any show I attend including the 2026 ADGA National Show, 2026 NAILE, or 2026 Convention!

So proud of my sister Addyson today! 1st place senior showmanship at the ODGA show! She was able to help me show senior does all morning only to go back and have to completely prep her doe for Showmanship within just a short time period of maybe 20-30 minutes. Hooves, hair, milking, she did it all! Anyone that knows Saanens know how hard they try to get themselves as dirty as possible and what a challenge it can be to get them showmanship ready. Typically Alpines have been our breed of choice but with no Alpine senior does on the trailer this show unfortunately I left her no choice than a Saanen (due to timing of the show rings, couldn't show 2 complete breeds at the same time so I chose to just bring my Saanens). Delilah had never been used as a Showmanship doe but she walked in there and behaved very well for Addy! I let her show her all morning as I figured she'd be the best candidate for showmanship and it allowed Addy to get used to her and she brought her to 1st place 2 yr old in all 3 rings! Delilah was not milked completely out for showmanship but definitely had a lot out to make her more comfortable.

A clean, tidy trailer usually means one thing... IT'S SHOW TIME!! But it also means it will not stay this way for long when stuff gets thrown everywhere during the show 🤣
