Three East Shore favorites. Three stops. One delicious fall evening!

Join Heritage Orchard, Ziegler Winery and LaClare Cheese Shoppe on Thursday, October 22nd for a special Farm to Table evening along the beautiful east shore of Lake Winnebago.

🍷 First stop: Ziegler Winery to kick off the evening with some sips and small bites.

🧀 Next stop: LaClare Creamery for dinner featuring a delicious Fall Harvest Skillet with roasted Brussels sprouts, apples, pepper bacon, and maple balsamic vinaigrette.

🍎 The grand finale: Heritage Orchard! Because every good evening deserves a little something sweet. And we happen to know a thing or two about being sweet!

Along the way, you’ll hear the stories behind three local family businesses and enjoy some of the best flavors of fall.

The October harvest keeps getting sweeter at Heritage Orchard! We’re adding six wonderful varieties to our apple lineup this week, each with a little personality of its own!

🍎 Organic Ruby Rush – Beautifully crisp, juicy, and bursting with a bright sweet-tart flavor.

🍎 Ambrosia – Honey-sweet, delicate, and wonderfully crisp. A favorite for fresh eating!

🍎 Ida Red – An old-fashioned favorite with a lively tart flavor. Wonderful for baking, applesauce, and homemade pies!

🍎 Jonagold – Big, juicy, and beautifully balanced between sweet and tart. A terrific all-around apple.

🍎 Red Delicious – A classic American apple with a mild sweetness and that familiar deep-red skin.

🍎 Golden Delicious – Sweet, mellow, and wonderfully versatile. Just as lovely in a pie as it is eaten fresh!

Whether you’re looking for an old favorite or discovering something new, October is a wonderful time to explore the flavors of the orchard.

Old Red Tractor Alert! 🚨

Hop aboard for FREE wagon rides around Heritage Orchard this Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM!

Enjoy a ride, learn a little about the orchard, and get dropped off wherever you’d like to pick.

It may be one of the last warm days of the year. Come soak up a little fall sunshine while you can!

And as always No Entry Fees, we encourage exploring!

Fur babies, on leashes, are encouraged to join in the exploring outside.

🍎 The French are coming! The French are coming!

In honor of America’s 250th birthday, we’re celebrating with a little French vs. American Allies rivalry this week!

🇫🇷 The Fameuse, or “Snow” Apples, are a French heirloom that made their way to North America long before the Revolution. Unsurprisingly they surrendered their original name. But with a balanced, sweet, subtly tart flavor and delicate notes reminiscent of w**e, they’ve managed to retain their French spirit.

🇺🇸 Jonathan Apples are a homegrown American classic! Crisp, juicy, and wonderfully sweet-tart, they’re terrific for eating fresh, baking, and making applesauce.

FUJI! FUJI! FUJI! 🇯🇵🍎

The Fujis snuck in this week with absolutely no warning and an alarming amount of sugar.

Originally developed in Japan, but we like to think ours have picked up a little Wisconsin accent, they are the sweetest of all our apples.
Trust us, if you think you’ve had one because you grabbed a Fuji at the grocery store, we respectfully request a retrial.

They’re incredibly crisp, juicy, and sweet.

Also joining us this week are Empires, Spartans, and Organic Triumph apples!

We can’t wait to see everyone this weekend!

🍂 Sunshine through the trees feels different in the fall.
🧥 A sweater somehow makes a snack taste better, and guilt free.
🌳 And an afternoon at the orchard feels like a pretty big adventure when you’re lil.
