This small business Saturday I wanted to take a moment to share my story and what keeps me going.
I first started growing food in 2006, on a rocky hillside in the mountains. Raising kids and raising dreams, and started gardening to give my family healthier food. What started as nutrition for my family quickly grew into a passion. I worked late nights in the kitchen, endless markets and events, trial and error, permits and licenses, and a dream that one day I could support myself by feeding people homegrown food. It’s been a labor of love to arrive where I am, and I appreciate every step.
At Gray Fox Farm, every jar of honey, preserves, bushel of apples and carton of eggs, is rooted in care for the land and its creatures, tradition, and community. By choosing local, you’re not just buying food-you’re helping sustain regenerative agriculture and food sovereignty, and keeping the lights on and the wood stove going for this happy little farmer family.
Stop by Chimacum Corner Farmstand,

Thank you for lifting up small producers this season-we couldn’t do it without you!
