“Goat cheese is too gamey.” 🤔 It’s one of the most common things we hear from customers who think they don’t like goat cheese. The truth is, goat milk (and the cheese made from it) takes on many different flavors depending on how the milk is handled and processed.
At Fredrikson Farm, it all starts with how our milk is processed. Our milk is never exposed to the elements. It travels directly from the pipeline to the receiver jar, then into the bulk tank or vat for pasteurization. This careful handling helps preserve the true flavor of goat milk before it ever becomes cheese.
The quality of the milk makes the cheese. That’s why it’s important to us that we raise our own goats, produce our own milk, and make our own cheese right here on the farm. By overseeing every step of the process, we can ensure the fresh, tangy flavor that keeps so many customers coming back for another bite.
Have you tried Fredrikson Farm chèvre?!
