My passion fruit vine was COVERED with these guys. I didn’t notice them first, I actually noticed the fruit and flowers had been eaten into! And then noticed all the eaten leaves.

I always grow something over the chicken coop in the summer. Usually it’s gourds. We have done a few different types of gourds and they do amazing! I also did pumpkins earlier this summer and got beautiful pumpkins!

Later in the summer I decided to try loofah and so far I can count 9 off my one plant and it just got started so fingers crossed for lots more!

Every year I plant something to grow over the chicken coop for both shade for my chickens and something different for me. I usually do gourds but this year I did a pumpkin plant. And later also planted loofa. I would have loved these for fall decor, however, it’s not fall. So anyone have any great recipes that is their go to with pumpkins?

🍅 Does anyone else pick their tomatoes right before they turn red or at the start of them turning red? They have been ripening great on the counter and I can grab them before some of the bugs (we don’t spray our garden!). We have soooo many still on the vine.
These are Romas and I have been freezing them as they are ripe so I can make some enchilada sauce when I have enough for a large batch 😍.

It’s been raining so much (I’m not going to complain) that I had to wait for a day of no rain to dig up the rest of these potatoes. I was getting worried they were going to rot!! Although it’s scalding hot out, lunchtime was the only time I had to skedaddle out there and grab all this! Did I look like I just got out the pool? Yes. Do I have a pool? No. 😖

A good friend of mine shared green beans with us and my husband and I tag teamed it and got them knocked out! I believe it was 63 jars of canned green beans! 🫘 Very rewarding but very exhausted!
