Calf Slippers 💛 (eponychium)the calves and foals have these at birth to protect the mother’s uterus and birth canal from being torn during birth. Sometimes it’s the small things like this that just fascinate me that God put so much detail in every creature big and small. The slippers are very spongy and harden within around 24 to 72 hours of birth.
