Featuring a rugged 4" x 4" angle iron framework and heavy-duty ½" x 2½" slats, these grates are built to stand up to the demands of today's dairy operations. The unique 45° angled slat design increases hoof contact area, helping improve footing and comfort while maintaining exceptional durability.

Meet Josh Jennings 👇

Josh is a Technical Project Manager and has been with VES Artex for nearly 10 years, supporting just about everything across the organization from fan installation and commissioning to engineering collaboration, product development and customer support in the field. He’s the guy making sure systems are installed correctly, performing as promised and delivering true customer satisfaction from start to finish. 🔧

Josh’s role is anything but typical by blending hands on mechanical work with technical expertise and direct customer interaction. Whether he’s turning wrenches, troubleshooting systems or working face to face with farmers and dealers, he brings a unique mix of grit and tech know how to every project. 🎛️

What Josh enjoys most is helping customers and the animals they care for. After seeing firsthand how VES Artex systems improve barn environments and animal comfort (even in extreme conditions), he was hooked. That passion has taken him across 14 countries and 41 states, supporting farms all over the world. ✈️

Born and raised in the back hills of West Virginia, Josh grew up around cattle and horses, spending time hunting, working on equipment and learning hands on skills that still shape who he is today. He’s proud to be hands-on, with a love for both technology and hard work. 🐎
Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his family—especially his grandson, along with fishing, heading to the beach and life with his dog Moose (a Catahoula Leopard Dog). A former Harley rider turned Jeep owner, he’s always up for the next adventure. 🐟

As for his favorite farm animal, Josh picks horses and appreciates their gentle nature and the connection he built with them growing up. 🐴
