Wart had a GREAT 2026 RPHSA year in the Minnesota Hunter 2'3" and Modified Hunter 2'6". The BoyZ were WONDERFUL help at the shows. Six years of hard work, trials and errors finally coming together for improvements, not perfection, in the ring. The important thing is that Wart is happy and proud of himself. Thank you to Spencer, Kathe and Mary for their support and friendship. We'll see what 2027 brings...one day at a time.

Thanks to everyone at Carriage House Farm in Hugo, MN on Saturday, August 29 for putting on a wonderful show despite a steady to hard rain all morning long. Slippery in the grass ring and puddles in the sand ring. Wart and I struggled throughout the day yet learned a lot from each other. The BoyZ were great! This is Wart's final round over 2'6" fences; he placed 4th. He finally gave in to the footing and got round at the end. Good lessons are often learned in difficult circumstances. Grateful for a safe, sound day.

This is a long video of Lucky Girl's first bath. Mama Penny patient and Mr. Nick steady with the phone camera. Mr. Mike attending the baby. Kathy going as fast as possible with the entire process. The temperament on this baby is fantastic; so matter-of-fact and easy going. One day at a time.

Can't argue with the post. She's right. One of the many reasons I'm not trying to make it as a professional for the public any more. The biggest problem is not what one should charge, it is what people are willing and able to pay. In our area, there's a barn that is charging what I charged 20 years ago! Costs have quadrupled since then! They're "making it" on quantity not quality. I could stay on my soapbox for a while, but I won't. We don't make humans into horsemen the way we used to either. Just remember, owning and riding horses is a luxury.

Livacious expressing herself at 2 months old. Yes, I've been living with the animals too long! Lord Adonis x Fierce Independent. Your next H/J/E prospect! Don't read the AI, it makes me sound really silly.

I've had this idea in my brain for a while now. Think of the music from the 50's show "My Three Sons"

Golden Gate Equestrian Center in Jordan, MN. June 26. Successful and sunburned. Wart had a GREAT day! BoyZ were wonderful, helpful and we're all grateful. The Hosts and RPHSA crew were fantastic. Wart is finally comfortable and seemed to enjoy himself. Shout out to Kate Jensen of Dark Horse Connemaras. I bought With Highest Honor from her in June of 2020 as a MN Canter horse. It's been quite a journey!

Livacious aka Lucky Girl arrived Monday, June 15 at 7pm. Healthy mare and foal. Lord Adonis x Fierce Independent. TB/WB cross aimed at the H/J/E folks. Breeding back for another one! Thanks and congratulations to Edgar Schutte at EurEquine, Yuba City, CA. Shout out to Raleigh Minor from whom I purchased Fierce Independent as a foal at the side of Fearless Bay in 2017. Penny has finally become the broodmare I had hoped she'd be.
