🐝 SNEAK PEEK 👀

Something new just showed up for the hives… and it’s all about getting the girls ready for a Wisconsin winter. ❄️🐝

Any guesses what these are for? 👀

I’ll show you exactly how they work when it’s time to put them on!

🐝 Find the Queen Sunday — Late Edition! 👑

Life got a little busy today, but the queen wasn’t about to let us skip FTQS. 😂

She’s hiding somewhere in this frame. Think you can spot her? 👀🐝

Drop your guess in the comments — and no giving it away if you find her! 👑

Never a dull moment in the bee yard… 👑🐝

I definitely wasn't expecting to find this during an inspection.

Now we wait. 👀

That’s a wrap on honey harvest for 2026! 🍯🐝

Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the season! It was a fantastic first season for Honey & Layers Co., and the ladies definitely did their part — 241 lbs of honey harvested this season!

Honey harvest may be finished, but the work with the bees definitely isn’t. Now it’s time to start getting the ladies ready for a Wisconsin winter. ❄️🐝

Thanks for following along and supporting us through our first season. There’s plenty more to come!

I thought we were done harvesting honey for the year. The girls disagreed. 😂🐝🍯

Harvest #3 coming soon!

👑🐝 It’s Find the Queen Sunday!

Somewhere in this crowd is the queen. Can you find her? She's pretty easy this week, again. She's been making herself see every time I'm in the hive! 👀

Drop your guess below — we’ll reveal her tomorrow! 🍯

Find the Queen Sunday — Week 2! 🐝👑

Alright, we’re back for round two! Last week some of you found her pretty quick, so let’s see how everyone does this time. Both ladies that I found this week made themselves super easy to find!

Take a good look through the bees and drop a 🐝 in the comments when you find her — but don’t give away her location!

I’ll post the reveal tomorrow!

First attempt at bringing you guys along for a hive inspection! 🐝

The camera angle definitely wasn't perfect, but you have to start somewhere 😂 I wanted to start showing a little more of what actually goes on when I'm out working the hives instead of just posting the finished product.

New camera mount is already on the way, so hopefully the next one gives you a much better view along with hopefully better editing skills eventually!

For now, here's about 30 seconds of what a day in the bee yard looks like. 🍯🐝
