On deck for the family tonight - Sun Drop Brined Prairie Fresh Pork Ribeyes from Piggly Wiggly Stores -
In Williamston, NC - coated with the new Heath Riles BBQ Steak and Chop Seasoning - all cooked on one of our Recteq 380X’s Lil Bit!

Tonight decided to branch out a bit - started with some filet and NY Strip Steaks in a 4 hour brine with Heath’s Pineapp...

Tonight decided to branch out a bit - started with some filet and NY Strip Steaks in a 4 hour brine with Heath’s Pineapple Soy Recipe but with a twist … instead of garlic, we added garlic jalapeño rub - recipe below

Brine - 3 parts pineapple juice, 1 part low sodium soy sauce, 1 tbsp Heath Riles Garlic Jalapeño Rub

Then Sou Vide’d for 2 hours at 137F….. pulled and added SPG and seared on high on our Recteq X-Fire Pro Codigo….

Threw in some squash and zucchini seasoned with Heath Riles BBQ brand new SPG Rub! Dinner is served……

Just can not thank Down East Ace enough for the partnership and sponsorship - if you are anywhere east of Raleigh, NC - it’s worth a trip down to New Bern to see Jon and the staff - he stocks Recteq, Gateway Drum Smokers, Heath Riles BBQ, Elite BBQ Smokers, and a litany of other rubs, spices, injections, seasonings, and accessories for competition and back yard BBQ folks alike - my wife enjoys the Yeti and Dog Toy Assortment too!

Some Pork is for Dinner - Prairie Fresh Pork Tenderloins from our local Piggly Wiggly Stores in Williamston, NC - injected with HR Pork Injection and then layered with Heath Riles BBQ Garlic Jalapeño and Honey Rubs!

All cooked on our Recteq 340P Road Warrior -

We added some twice baked potatoes and portobello mushroom caps hit with the brand new HR SPG in one of our 380X’s —— Dinners Served….

Worked from home today after several days on the road - did some random stuff for the family -

First - brined Plainville Farms Turkey Legs in Heath Riles Chicken Injection/Brine and Bone Broth most of the day -

The layered Heath Riles BBQ Honey Chipotle and Go Big or Go BBQ Beef Rubs - smoked on our Recteq 340P road warrior -

Also threw in some Gouda and Sharp Cheddar on the Recteq 380X hot with HR Garlic Jalapeño and stuffed jalapeños for good measure -
