Well poo! Literally! Our girls didn't take on the first try!! No babies on the way yet but we are fixing to take another run at it soon! In the meantime, all of our girls are relaxing in the early fall sunshine and enjoying each other's company! 😂❤️

So we will find out tomorrow if Dandy and Biscuit are expecting! 😍. Praying for a positive for both! It been a several weeks and we have been anxiously waiting to see if we have any buns in the oven!!

So we finished our first attempt at AI this past week! The girls have been AI'd with Drag Iron specials! 😂🤣. Dr Damon says it is up to the Good Lord now! We will see in a few more days if our efforts have paid off! Stay tuned!

We are getting ready for our next adventure!! We will begin the process to artificially inseminate our two mature heifers: R4 Trail of Dandelions and D'arbonne Longhorns Biscuit & Gravy (our first heifer born 2016!!--named by Mr. Reese Antley himself)! We will be attempting to breed with Drag Iron (pictured below)! Tune in for to see me & Faith get our first experience with inseminating cows!! This will be the first time we haven't impregnated cows the old-fashioned way!😂😂

Our spokesmodel! Miss Scarlett O'Hara Pig!! Or "piggy piggy" or "little piggy"! She is big & beautiful and is never late to supper!! While not technically a longhorn, she does "identify" as a Longhorn (We believe this is her choice! She feels like she is a longhorn in a pig's body--mainly at supper time when the cows are dropping food on the ground that she thinks needs to be cleaned up!😂). She also occasionally identifies as a horse if they appear to be wasting a few tasty bites on the ground. Otherwise she identifies as the supermodel that she obviously is!😍!! She is the queen of the barnyard!❤️

nIntroducing our head wrangler! Faith Antley!! Starting 9th grade at Choudrant High School this year she is in charge of all horses of this little ranch and does a fantastic job! She loves horses ( #1) and cows ( #2) and dog ( #3)!😂. She can scoop horse poo with the best! And, honestly, this farm could NOT run without her!❤️. She is the bomb! A dang good horse trainer, barrel racer, & cattleman in training! Miss Faith Antley (may be Alice Cooper's biggest fan!!).
