Good morning y’all! Sorry we’ve been absent. This summer has been very busy and we would like to say we have some new additions to our flock. Momma hen has hatched 4 beautiful chicks. She had 18 eggs left to hatch. I decided it was to much for her to do while trying to raise 4littles, so, I decided to invest in an incubator and hatch the rest my self. After candling the eggs, we sat and waited. Hearing little chirps ans seeing the eggs cracking, our little family of five watched the first hatching. It was a beautiful and exciting even to witness. Until the kids said ”that chicky nuggy would be great in ranch” 🤣🤣🤣 of course they were kidding… I hope. All together we had 14 chicks. Needless to say we’ve busy!
