For me marigolds are the flower of summer. Bright, colorful and long-lasting. This hot season is not my favorite season but I think marigolds might be one of my favorite flowers. A solid enough flower to make a whimsy bouquet by themselves and also to add in an arrangement for some fun and movement.🧡💛

Are you needing a Christmas or birthday gift for someone special in your life? I make wreaths with dried flowers from my farm. I put detail and design into each wreath hoping it will bring you as much joy as I got from growing the flowers.

These are wreaths I have done for others and no wreath is the same.

On this beautiful morning i got a bit more garden work done. There definitely isn't as much going on with the flowers as life has slowed down a little while we wait for the baby. A few flowers are still blooming - the dahlias are just starting. Still too many weeds but we hope to rid them yet. Not a normal year for this flower farmer but still a good one.
