Lots of them. After I put up the extra wire to try to keep the squirrels out, I fed all the plants some of that Fruit and Bloom stuff and now I have more melons and so far knock on wood the squirrels 🐿️ are staying out.

I’m getting excited about the watermelons. I’ve been fighting squirrels to keep them out and to stop eating them and the cucumbers. Since putting up some bird wire I now am getting some orange ones.

I’m freaking out! I jumped four feet in the air. I was moving the last five bales of hay off of the pallets because I have two loads of hay coming tomorrow. A huge snake was under the last bale and came slithering out when I grabbed it and started moving it. It went right into the goats stall.

This was yesterday. Just still trying to get him halter broke. He’s a wild one.

Rambo has poopy 💩 pants again. Had to give him a shot this time. It was like water and smelled horrible. He got probiotics and boluses for diarrhea too. He was not happy. Sometimes things have to be done though.

I have to share this. We started using Purina Wind and Rain loose minerals with Altosid to control flys. I add a little garlic powder to it to keep flys off of them. I am shocked at how well this is working. I usually use sprays, wipes, and powder and we had so many flies like you had done nothing. I have this stuff on Autoship with Chewy and will keep so until cold weather. I’ll start up again before flies start up again. You’re never going to have zero flies, but this is amazing. He tried to take me out. I’ve halter broke four different calves in the last couple of years and number five is proving to be the toughest. He’s much smaller than the others were when I started but he’s tough. He has a lot of fight. I had to dr him for scours so it was a good time to start. I’m glad because had I waited much longer he would’ve done me in. He’s probably around 200 lbs now. It felt like 1000 when he landed on my foot.
