We've had a lot of questions from homestead swap folks about the next event and how to keep in touch with the swapping community. Read on if interested.

Instead of creating a new Facebook group, we recommend joining the existing "New River Valley Homesteading" group (link in comments). Additionally, I'm creating a Google doc to help facilitate swaps between events. I will make this public once I get everyone's permission to share their information.

Thanks to everyone who came to our inaugural homestead swap at Moon Hollow Brewing today! We had 20-30 folks turn up, which was WAY beyond what we had hoped. The photos show only a fraction of what was brought. We hope you'll consider joining us next time!

I brought: Tomatoes, beans, Tromboncino squash, bread, tomato juice, ginger b**r, and vegan pesto
I got: W**e, pears, potatoes, cookies, banana bread, eggs, pottery, pizza dough, and tissue holders
