Sunshine & Sunflowers - Coming Soon!

Sinkland Farms' 3rd Annual Sunflower Festival will be here in July~only 2 months away! So make this family festival part of your summer vacation plans. As always at Sinkland, there will be something for every age.

On April 22nd at 5 p.m. Karin Hubbard and Samuel Cochran exchanged their vows, officiated by the father-in-law: Larry Cochran, at the Tuscan Pond on Sinkland Farms. Under threatening skies Sinkland Farms was prepared to hold the wedding ceremony inside undercover in their rustic-chic, romantic event barn; however, at three o’clock the skies turned blue just in time for their wedding ceremony to be held outside at the Sinkland Farms’ Tuscan Pond. Cocktail hour was on the terrace. Center Stage Catering, Rocky Mount, VA, served the wedding celebration buffet inside the charming event barn, and the rehearsal dinner was catered by HazelBea Catering from Radford, VA.

The bride and bridesmaid slept over in the cozy, intimate, and luxurious honeymoon suite at Sinkland Farms and woke up to a deliciously decadent brunch followed by hair and make-up while the men dressed in the Sinkland Farms’ manor.

All of the flowers and decor in Sinkland Farms elegant, modern-farmhouse style event barn are elaborately decorated by Susan Sink of Sinkland Farms. The bride' floral arrangements were prepared by Gloriosa Florist of Roanoke, Virginia. The bride chose her favorite shades of purple and lavender complimented with ivory and greenery. Her wedding dress was selected from Studio I Do, located in Roanoke, Virginia, and Aztec Rental supplied their china, crystal, and silver flatware. Last, but not least, Patrick Perkins Photography, LLC documented the bride and groom's monumental occasion with their friends and family - memories for a lifetime!

Samuel Cochran, the groom, was happy to say, “It's been a tradition of theirs to attend the Sinkland Farms Pumpkin and Sunflower Festivals every year!”

One day away until Sinkland Farms 1st Annual Easter Eggs-Travaganza!

Swoop up your Easter basket, hop on over to the farm, and hop into our Cottage Shop to enjoy some delicious ice cream and take home some local honey, jams, and sauces: we have Sinkland Farms t-shirts too - and so much more!

Due to the weather forecast of rain and high-gusty winds, we will not open our Easter Eggs-Travaganza on Saturday, April 1st to ensure your safety and fun. We are super Eggs-Cited to open with our full program on Sunday, April 2nd - looking forward to a fun-filled day with everyone tomorrow, Sunday, April 2nd, at our 1st Annual Sinkland Farms Easter Eggs-Travaganza!
