Fort Christmas Farm

Fort Christmas Farm We are Blessed to be raising a variety of chickens, peacocks, guineas, quail, geese and ducks. As well at Nigerian Dwarf goats and KuneKune pigs.

We have had chickens off and on for over 25 years. We currently raise Silkies and Serama chickens and try to have a variety of pullet (female)chicks available. We breed Ducks, Geese, Peacocks, Guineas and Coturnix Quail. We also have Nigerian Dwarf goats and KuneKune pigs. There is a parking lot out front of the farm where you can pick up chicken eggs. Also Duck and Quail eggs when available. We

Will be putting a new metal roof on the Barn Office in the coming weeks as the shingle roof and vents were damaged by the fire and need to be replaced.
If anyone has some extra metal roofing supplies such as metal trim, metal roofing screws, etc. that they would like to donate we would really appreciate it.

UPDATE: Finally had to clean up the porch so it can be cleaned and painted, so all Lisa's damaged and destroyed items ...

UPDATE: Finally had to clean up the porch so it can be cleaned and painted, so all Lisa's damaged and destroyed items from the burnt-out barn office had to be removed and piled onto one of the farm carts and taken to one of the other Ag buildings for Lisa to go through the stuff.
It will be hard for her to go through that stuff as so many wonderful farm memories had been destroyed and now to try to figure out what is too far gone to try to reuse and what might be salvageable is a Herculean task for such a small lady.
She will need to go through a few boxes of tissues but she will get it done as soon as possible.
In the mean-time the porch of the Barn Office is now empty and if the big rain storm didn't run through here several times today, it might have gotten cleaned and painted. Maybe tomorrow??
