Things you DON’T learn from a French macaron recipe… 👀👩🏻‍🍳

Because a recipe can give you the ingredients and instructions, but it can’t exactly tell you how to set yourself up for success before even touching these ingredients, what your batter should look like, or why your macarons have suddenly decided to do their own thing.😆

Some things are just easier to learn hands-on!🙌🏽

Also, can we talk about this text-to-speech voice?! The way she says French macarons is taking me OUT.💀🤣

The Philippine Medical Association of San Diego Carabao 5K🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️ PMASD Carabao 5K | San Diego Run was such a lovely experience!🥰🐃🇵🇭

Despite the record-breaking heat that weekend☀️, it was wonderful seeing the community come together, catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and connecting with some incredibly cool local vendors.

For MMC Bakes, it was a day filled with lots of crinkle cookies finding new homes 🍪😂, new connections, and those little moments that remind me why I continue to show up for these events.

Because as much as I love seeing my treats sell, it’s the people, the conversations, and the community behind it all that make these experiences so special.🫶🏽 Even though I took a lot of quick photos when I had a longer-than-usual interaction (so I could remember who I chatted with😶‍🌫️), I missed quite a few photo ops too!

Shoutout to my husband Alvic for being my rock; couldn’t do these events without him!🥰🙏🏽

A huge thank-you to the organizers for bringing everyone together, to everyone who stopped by the my booth, and to the fellow vendors who made the day even more memorable!

Still trying to process this one.🥹

Last year’s FilAm CreatorCon was a little slower, so I had NO idea what to expect. This year, I decided to take a chance and bring more goodies—and somehow sold out even FASTER.😲

But honestly, the best part wasn’t even selling out. It was seeing familiar faces, meeting new customers, reconnecting with friends, and being surrounded by so many talented Filipino creators, makers, and small businesses. ❤️🇵🇭

Cake decorating with my niece = 10% art👩🏻‍🎨, 90% negotiations over frosting 😂

Made this sideways heart cake (always gotta be extra💁🏻‍♀️) with palette knife buttercream flowers for my sister ’s birthday recently. Love when I get to hang out with my niece, nephew & rest of my family🥰🥰
