What a great time at the Smokin’ on Blackshear BBQ & Balloons! Such a fun time hanging out with friends and the balloons were just beautiful Friday night. Tim even had a blast playing a few rounds of golf with some great BBQ friends. At the end of the day we ended up with 4th in Ribs and 4th of in loin. We were proud of those two calls but not so great in pulled pork but there is always next time. Congratulations to all that got a call and to the awesome 600’s received. Big shout out to Grills Gone Wild on their 1st Grand and Rustic Que and on their Reserved Grand. Now on to a nice Summer break!

We had a great time as usual at Hogs for Housing in Vienna, Ga. We finished up 2nd overall, 1st in Ribs, 7th in pulled pork, 12th in Loin and 1st in the wings ancillary category. Always a lot of great competition so we are honored to land where we did. Congratulations to Piggielicious on their Grand and Lerons for Reserve. They killed it with a triple final this past weekend. Love how these guys support each other! Congratulations to all that got a call. Hard to believe this is our last cook until fall. Have a great Summer everyone and we will see you soon.

Happy 30 year Anniversary to my BBQ cooking husband Tim Harper! Who knew we would make it this long. Oh what fun it has been. Thanks for always loving me no matter what! Cheers to the next 30 years!

We had a great weekend competing at the Smokin on Blackshear BBQ and Music Festival at Lake Blackshear. After all was said and done we finished 1st in ribs, 8th in pulled pork, and 16th in loin. This landed us 5th overall. Always a fun time with friends at the Georgia BBQ Association cooks. Congratulations to Rescue Smokers on their Grand and Johnson Boys and Girls BBQ on reserve along with all the teams that walked this weekend. A big shout out to Greg Hoyt for catching these fun pictures!!

Another fun weekend at the Tifton Rhythm and Ribs! Always great to see every one. We finished 8th overall with our best in pulled pork with a 5th place. We ended up 13th in loin and 15th in ribs. Not a bad cook but hoping to do better at Donaldsonville. Thanks so much to our son Brint Danforth and Tim Jordan for getting it done while we worked. Congratulations to all the teams that got calls and Rolling Smoke on Reserve and 319Q for winning Grand.

What a weekend of fun and BBQ! We teamed up with Brian Griffis, Flying Pig BBQ, and traveled to Apalachicola, FL for the Butts & Clucks cook-off. We ended up 17th overall out of 47 great teams. Finished 7th in Chicken and 8th in pulled pork. A huge thank you to my friends that came out to support us! A Big shout out to Brian Griffis on all his help and cooking expertise! Congratulations to my GBA buddies, Rescue Smokers and Posse Q on their wins! GBA showed up and represented!
