The herd is officially growing again and we are so excited to introduce our newest arrival… 💛🐮
Meet Honey, our beautiful new miniature Jersey heifer born Sunday to our sweet girl, Creme. She is absolutely perfect and we are already in love with her.
Honey has already figured out that Adam is her personal cuddle buddy and she’s getting spoiled with lots of affection already. Creme is being such a good first-time mama, Bobo is one proud first-time daddy, and Peaches has officially earned her title as grandmother. 🥹
And of course, Georgia is thrilled to finally have a little playmate out in the pasture. The whole herd seems happy to welcome this precious little girl.
Welcome to the farm, Honey 🍯💛

🌟 EMPLOYEE OF THE WEEK 🌟
Meet… LACEY 🐔💙
Position: Senior Blue Egg Specialist
Years of Service: Unknown before us + 5 years here on our farm
Lacey is one of the few original chickens still around here. She was already several years old when she joined our farm family, and after 5 more years with us, she’s basically a senior citizen at this point. 👵🐔
Even though she’s retired from full-time egg duty, every now and again we’ll find Miss Lacey sitting proudly in the nesting box after laying one of her beautiful blue eggs. 💙🥚
Employee Stats:
⭐ Favorite Treat: Watermelon 🍉
⭐ Specialty: Laying surprise blue eggs
⭐ Personality Trait: Sweet old lady
⭐ Work Ethic: “I’ll lay when I feel like it.”
And before anyone worries about the future of blue eggs around here… don’t worry. Mindy has already added several younger blue egg layers to the farm team — they just haven’t started clocking in yet. 😉
Show Lacey some love in the comments! 💙🐔

Just in time for Memorial Day weekend, there’s something new in the farm stand. ❤️
If you didn’t know, I absolutely love to sew. Over the past few months, I’ve been making myself shirts using vintage fabrics, quilting them together, and giving old pieces new life. Every time I wore one, someone would ask, “Did you make that?” followed by, “Do you sell them?”
Well… that got me thinking. Maybe I should.
So I did. 😊
I made a small collection of one-of-a-kind shirts just in time for the holiday weekend, and y’all… they turned out so cute. Each shirt is made with vintage fabrics that have been stitched together with love, and I truly enjoyed every minute of creating them.
I have one shirt in each size from Small to 2XL available in the farm stand this weekend. If you stop by, I hope you find one that feels made just for you.
And whoever brings one home, I hope you enjoy wearing it as much as I enjoyed sewing it.
More than anything, my prayer is that these shirts serve as a reminder that God can take things that are worn, broken, old, and forgotten and turn them into something beautiful and new again. ❤️
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17
Hope you stop by the farm stand this weekend and grab your size!

We have a few strawberry plants available in the farm stand!
These are everbearing which means they’ll keep producing delicious berries throughout the season. If you’ve been wanting to start your own strawberry patch, these are perfect.
Just look at this one… it already has strawberries on it! ❤️🍓
Our strawberry patch here on the farm is pretty small, and we’ve already picked over 4 gallons of strawberries from it this season. There’s nothing better than walking outside and picking fresh strawberries right from your own yard. Plus, it’s good knowing that nothing has ever been sprayed on the berries.
Stop by the farm stand and grab a strawberry plant while they last so you can grow your own sweet strawberries at home! 🌱
We’re open every day, dawn to dusk.

Well… the adventures never end around here. 😅
The other night we had two otters show up on our pond and spook one of our female ducks so badly that she flew off before we could catch her. We watched her head toward the city park down the road, and ever since then we’ve been making daily trips trying to find her.
This morning, when Mindy left for the store, she spotted Lemon at the park, slammed on the brakes, did a U-turn in the middle of the road, and immediately called Adam. We tried to catch her then, but she was still way too nervous and kept staying just out of reach.
So this afternoon we came back more prepared. Adam put on his fishing waders😂, we loaded up fence panels, grabbed two fishing nets, and probably looked like absolute lunatics running around the park. 🤣
BUT… we caught her!! 🙌🏻
Lemon is finally back home safe and sound, and her sister Lulu was SO excited to see her again. 🥹❤️ Enjoy this video of their reunion. I’d give anything to know what those two were saying to each other.
“WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!”
“YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE THE WEEK I’VE HAD.”
Welcome home, Lemon. 🍋
And honestly… if someone had recorded the actual capture, I’m pretty sure we would’ve ended up on America’s Funniest Videos.

✨ NEW in the farm stand ✨
Mindy turned the wild honeysuckle growing around the farm into the sweetest little taste of summer… Honeysuckle Jelly 🌼🍯
Made from handpicked (thanks Adam!) yellow honeysuckle blossoms (skip the green tips!) gathered from areas that have never been sprayed with chemicals. The fully yellow blossoms have the richest flavor, giving this jelly notes of honey, vanilla, and a hint of citrus. Honestly, it tastes like summer in a jar.
If you loved our other floral jelly, you are going to LOVE this one.
Available in our farm stand now while they last… because the flowers — and the jelly — won’t stick around forever. 💛
Stop by and pick up a jar (or several)! 🍯

🐓 Employee of the Week 🐓
Meet Bull — the boss rooster around here!
📋 Employee Stats:
• Name: Bull
• Position: Head of Security & Ladies Man
• Breed: Partridge Brahma
• Age: 5 years old
• Favorite Treat: Mealworms
• Special Skills: Hawk patrol, flock communication, peacekeeping, and keeping the ladies in line
• Personality: Handsome, protective, and always a gentleman
Bull takes his job very seriously. He keeps all his ladies safe from hawks, watches over the flock, and has his own special way of communicating with the hens that’s honestly pretty cool to watch.
If there’s ever a little scuffle between the ladies, Bull steps right in as the peacemaker and settles things down. He likes harmony in his flock. 😂
And true gentleman behavior? Even when mealworms are involved, Bull always lets the ladies eat first. 💛
Around here, he runs a tight ship.
Because every farm needs a Bull… and we don’t mean the livestock kind. 😉
