Thank yall for another great market! We weren’t sure if we’d make it as of Friday night 😬

⛈️ A wild storm popped up Friday evening. The rain was VERY appreciated, but we did not have the chickens prepared for the wind and sideways rain!

Our power went out, which means no heat lamps, and they’re super vulnerable to the wet and cold. Hayden ran out in the crazy weather to start a generator and help get them all warmed up. He spent hours monitoring and making sure the coldest ones got enough heat.

Thanks to him running out into the storm, it looks like we’ll only lose one chick to the weather. That’s much better than it could have been!

🐮All of the cows faired well, our power came back on in time for the market, and the grass is growing fast! 🌱

Hayden has been using our maternity leave (yes, we had the baby!) to work on a project.

The chicks are ordered and the chicken tractor is almost finished, which means we’ll have PASTURE RAISED CHICKEN available in a few short months.

These chickens will be raised with the same regenerative principles as our grass-fed beef.
• fed Non-GMO, Corn & Soy free feed
• moved to fresh grass daily
• no antibiotics or vaccinations of any kind

Cuts we plan to offer:
Bone-in, skin on Breasts
Bone-in, skin on leg quarters (leg & thigh)
Bone-in, skin on wings
Chicken feet for chicken broth or dog treats

Our baby is quickly approaching!

If you’re a weekly shopper with us at the market, then you may want to stock up a little extra over the next few Saturdays!

Preorders may be the best option for anyone wanting to stock up to have enough beef for while I’m gone. I’ll have the normal selection for in-person shopping BUT you know some things go quickly if people are getting extra.

🗓️Market Schedule
*May 30th - at the market. Preorders open until 6pm tonight (Friday the 29th)
June 6th - not at the market
*June 13th - at the market. Preorders open until
6pm on Friday the 12th.

*These are your safest days to guarantee my attendance and your beef*

📦We should also be restocking the week of June 7th. The June 13th market will be a good option if you’re wanting to preorder something that you don’t see available right now 👀

I’m not anticipating to be at any markets in July, so please plan your shopping accordingly.

🚚For online orders:
We should be business as usual through June. I’ll be doing my best to get everything delivered to you before taking a little break with baby.

We’re here every Saturday from 8-12am with organically grown produce 🥕, our grass fed beef 🥩, sourdough bread 🥖, eggs 🥚, and ferments like kombucha.
