If you ever meet a winemaker…

05/22/2026

hi we do love you, we just haven’t taken our hands out of the dirt long enough to update everyone on the progress of things.

As you know, a tasting room is in the works. And, wow it’s looking lovely. Lived-in, old world charm. Maybe we’ll share a photo soon. 😉

When the weather turns, our attention shifts outdoors — to the vineyard and the native landscape taking shape around it. This year alone, we’ve planted more than 30 trees, too many native flowers to count, and 291 vines‼️😄

Someday soon, you’ll drive down our long gravel lane toward the tasting room, surrounded by all the lush beauty that started with this season’s planting.

More soon. 🥂

She’s back 🫨

Catawba Pét-Nat—our easygoing sparkling rosé with notes of watermelon candy and strawberry blossom. Bright, playful, and made in a very small batch.

Loved by many, and never around for long.

We’ve been getting our hands dirty in here creating a place we’re excited to share with everyone in the near future.

A little sneak peek…👀
• A bar shaped from Venetian plaster—hand molded & perfectly imperfect.
• Layered lime wash on the walls.
• Hammered copper lighting fixtures that cast a warm glow over the bar.

It’s not polished in a shiny way—and that’s the point.
We’re going for old world with lived-in charm. 🥂

The final bottle of Marquette Nouveau was shared around a table with good friends and a thoughtful meal. A fitting farewell to a wine well loved. Marquette Nouveau, you were lovely while you lasted. Cheers to the memories.

Before the vines & the building it was just a dusty cornfield.

Uprooting our lives from Fort Wayne to Churubusco and starting from scratch—no driveway. No structures. Just a dusty old cornfield and rolling hills.

These hills were the reason landed here. In northern Indiana, rolling hills are a conventional farmer’s headache—the dips and valleys that make planting tricky. But for us, it was a dream.

The first years were pure survival mode: carving the drive, putting up structures, getting vines in the ground, figuring out how to exist out here at all.

Now, we’re shifting.

Moving from “how do we make this work?” to “how do we welcome people in?”

Thinking about the tasting room and patio, what it’ll feel like to sit here with a glass, what we’ll plant next, how the land should be landscaped and lived in.

This is the next chapter. 🥳
