You’re INVITED to a mommy + me morning at Woznica Orchards!

Join Cuse Moms Club, Play2Learn + Woznica Orchards for an apple themed morning of learning, laughing + apple picking! Donna Butterfield will join to give a 30 minute children’s concert!

We will have storytime, music, games, a craft, + of course apple picking! Need a sweet treat? The Giving Bean has you covered.

Learning through play is the BEST way!

FAQ:

Q: Do I need to pre-register?
A: Nope! Drop-ins welcome. Last year we had a great community turnout!

Q: How much is this event?
A: A $3 donation to per family is suggested-- this helps us keep the event available to everyone by covering supply costs.

Q: What day/time?
A: Sept. 17, 9:30 @ Woznica Orchards, 8374 Cicero Center Road, Cicero, NY

Q: Is this self-guided?
A: Yes! Donna will play music for kids at 9:30. Then we will pair off into small groups for different self-guided activities.

What to expect when you visit Woznica Orchards!!

1. Park (no admission/parking fee) & walk to our Apple building (thanks David & Tom for the new shelter!!!).

2. Pay!! We pick by the BAG not by the pound. We accept cash or credit, cash is always preferred. 🫶

3. Pick!!! Rows available for picking are clearly marked. Pro tip: the further down the row you walk, the better the pickin!!

4. Enjoy. 😊 Time with friends and family, a fresh snack, the memories made.

Hi! 👋 My name is Amanda. My husband (David) & I are serial hobbyists and project people. While busy working, you can find me being a goofball thinking I’m very skilled for throwing the drill & catching it (as pictured).

Some fun facts about us!!!

1. If I had the opportunity to enter one of those county fair animal noise contests, I would *confidently* enter myself for my goat noise. 🐐 I know we should walk in humility…. butttt I’m just saying it’s at leastttt a 3rd place worthy goat noise. 🏅

2. Before apples, we toiled/started/abandoned/pivoted on the following ideas: potatoes, flowers, LETTUCE, chickens, turkeys, baked goods, SAWMILL, boat storage, farm to table smoker catering, excavation work, professional cleaning….I’m sure I’m missing a few. 😂 You can decide which ones we kept, ditched or changed.

3. David & I knew pretty much on our first date that “yep!! That’s my person!!” & that marriage was the obvious next step.

3a. David does not like to be barefoot, he must wear socks. Exception is when we are on the boat & he is about to swim. Meanwhile, I am usually barefoot, & I cannot find any matching socks. 🫠 Opposites attract, amiright???

A: YES ifffff…..
•you carry out what the dog might carry in 💩👀
•they are leashed 🦮🐩🐕‍🦺
•they are kid/other dog friendly!! The last being the biggest point! We have so many children and safety is our #1 priority. If you’re pup doesn’t play well with others, best to leave them home. If they DO, then come on over!! 👧🏼🧒🏼👦🏼👶
