Yeah, I was HYPED to do this order! 😂 But honestly, I’m excited about every order because I truly love what I do. ❤️

The biggest aha moment for me was realizing that when the call came, we were READY. We had the vendors, supplies, systems and team in place to turn it around in less than 24 hours.

So if you’re building a business, stay ready. You never know when your next opportunity is coming.

A morning opening up my juice bar.

Just showing up, serving my community with quality juices, prepping cleanse orders, making special orders and doing what I love.

I remember doing this from my home kitchen, then a commercial kitchen… and now I’m unlocking the doors to my own café.

So I say all that to say — don’t quit. Don’t stop, pivot if you need to.

September = showing up & being consistent.

When you own a health-focused juice bar + café, you better know your stuff because people are going to ask you ALL kinds of questions.

One thing I’ve learned from being in the wellness space for so many years is that “healthy” doesn’t look the same for everybody. I can’t give every person who walks through the door the same generic answer.

But one thing I DO know is that what we consistently put into our bodies matters. What we eat and drink plays a role in how we feel, so making better choices where we can makes a difference.

So when someone comes into Fruleef and asks me, “What’s the healthiest thing here?” I’m probably going to ask you a couple of questions right back: What do you like? What are you looking for today? Then we can go from there. 🫶🏽

One thing I’m learning is to handle what I can handle today, protect the things I’ve invested in and keep moving.

The problems are going to come. How you handle them is part of building the business.
