What started as a fun project in front of our building turned into a firsthand lesson in how corn grows.

Earlier this summer, we planted a few rows of corn in the landscaping bed outside our building just to see what would happen.

Over the course of 90 days, we watched tiny green shoots emerge from the soil, grow into towering stalks, develop tassels and ears, and ultimately produce fresh sweet corn ready for harvest.

Seeing the transformation happen right outside our doors gave us a new appreciation for the time, care, and patience that go into growing one of America's favorite vegetables. The best part? Enjoying the corn we grew ourselves!

Not bad for a little patch of corn outside the office!

Dinner just got a little more exciting!

Turn our Mexican Style Street Corn Kit into a delicious Elote Bowl packed with bold flavors and fresh ingredients. Simply add rice, black beans, avocado, and your favorite protein for an easy weeknight meal that delivers restaurant-quality flavor at home.

Fresh sweet corn, creamy mayo, cotija cheese, and zesty lime come together to create the perfect combination of convenience and taste.

Ingredients:
1 Mexican Style Street Corn Kit
1 cup cooked cilantro lime rice
1 cup black beans
1 avocado, sliced
Cherry tomatoes, halved
Optional: grilled chicken, steak, or shrimp

Directions:
Prepare the Mexican Street Corn Kit according to package directions.
Add cilantro lime rice to a bowl.
Top with black beans, avocado, tomatoes, and protein of choice.
Add the prepared Mexican Street Corn.
Finish with the included mayo, cotija cheese, and lime for a fresh, flavorful meal.

We are proud to partner with to help create a more sustainable and efficient fresh produce supply chain. Through the use of reusable IFCO RPCs, together we have achieved significant environmental savings in 2025, including:

🟢 546,296 kg of CO₂e reduced
🟢 3,704 m³ of water saved
🟢 28,735 GJ of energy conserved
🟢 165,449 kg of solid waste eliminated
🟢 33,674 kg of product waste prevented

These results demonstrate the impact that collaboration and innovation can have on reducing our environmental footprint while delivering fresh, high-quality produce to our customers.
