I always love a challenge!! My cousin reached out to me over a month ago asking me to make her a smash cake for her son’s first birthday…. shaped like a baked potato. 🤔 I wasn’t sure how this was going to go but I told her yes and gave it a shot. I hate fondant on a cake so I had to really think about how to accomplish the right look. This is covered in buttercream, not fondant! And I love the way it turned out!
