Our student-led club focuses on education and enjoyment of plants, especially natives! The University of Kentucky Horticulture Club is a group of students and faculty members who work together to further interest and education in Horticulture. In addition to picking apples, making wreaths, working on the UK South Farm, and assembling terrariums, the club operates a production greenhouse and sells a plethora of plant products. We specialize in native annual and perennial plant production, and these plants have been used in ecological installments all across Lexington. UK Horticulture Club is a nonprofit organization, and the profits from sales are used to fund the club’s operation and educational opportunities for students. The hands-on experience provided to students through work days, educational events, study trips, and more is invaluable to the education of the next generation of horticulturalists.
