MadTree & dog lovers, meet our 2nd- and 3rd-place Tail Waggers!

🥈 2nd Place - Marlene

In early 2027, a taproom-exclusive draft beer will be named after Marlene. This limited-edition Tail Wagger variant will celebrate Marlene’s adventurous spirit.

Get to know Marlene:

“Marlene is a rescue from Kentucky! We've had her for about two years and have learned that she loves swimming in the river, visiting breweries (including MadTree's Christmas dog events :)) and chasing the ball...ideally, she likes chasing the ball INTO the river on a hot day.”

🥉 3rd Place - Maverick

Maverick loves merch (as seen in the photo)... which is perfect because his adorableness has earned his family a MadTree swag bag!

Get to know Maverick:

“This is Maverick. He was named after the roller coaster at Cedar Point. He may fool you into thinking he’s a Golden Retriever, but really he’s a Goldendoodle. He’s just disguised as a Golden Retriever with curly fur (and his mom can’t stand that he sheds since that is what the doodle in him is supposed to prevent). He is the happiest, most friendly pup and will make friends with whoever looks at him. Poor guy has endured 3 ACL surgeries (that’s right, 3!) so that he could get back to playing fetch with his Chuckit! balls (he is very brand loyal). He loves a good jump off a paddleboard to go swimming down the Little Miami while his dad enjoys a good MadTree brewski and paddles away.”

🐾 Meet the new face of Tail Wagger: Doc! 🍻

This winter, Doc will be featured on our 2027 Tail Wagger Peanut Butter Porter cans.

He represents all the neighborhood dogs who visit our patios with wagging tails and big personalities.

Get to know Doc:

“Doc is a German Shorthair Pointer with endless amounts of energy. The only time he ever slows down is to enjoy ear scratches and snuggles.

One of the very first places we took him when he was a puppy was MadTree's patio, so he feels right at home whenever we stop in.

MadTree has been part of his story since he was little, and with a tail that never seems to stop, I think that the Tail Wagger Peanut Butter Porter was created with dogs just like Doc in mind!”
