According to a July 2023 study by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), over 45% of our nation's tap water is estimated to contain one or more types of per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances, commonly known as PFAS. These chemicals have raised concerns due to their potential adverse impacts on both human health and the environment.
