Our mission is to empower our community through the virtue of food. We’re changing perceptions about cooking. Today, we live in a culture that glamorizes “chefy” restaurant showmanship over the power of everyday home cooking. ry and even the culinary options their cities have to offer them. Unfortunately, this leaves too many in our urban cities like Cincinnati to resort to spending their hard-earned dollars on frozen meals, fast food and excessive eating out. We can change perceptions about home cooking by providing hands-on training, food education and community development through the virtue of food. That’s what we intend to do by designing & opening Cincinnati’s first Urban Cooking School & Restaurant. The goal is to provide locals an opportunity to learn and empower themselves to make better food choices and develop a useful life skill.
