Our talented quilting volunteers have been busy stitching up something special! This beautiful, one-of-a-kind quilt is bursting with colorful flowers, farm-inspired designs, and a whole lot of heart! And it could be yours!

🌻 From beautiful blooms to birdie buffets! 🐦💛

The sunflower blooms have come and gone, but their seed heads still have plenty to offer! Did you know that dried sunflower heads make wonderful natural bird feeders? They're also a fun, easy fall crafting project for the whole family!

Simply dry your sunflower head, tie some twine around the stem, and hang it outside for your feathered friends to enjoy. The birds will do the rest! It's a great way to give your sunflowers a second life, support local wildlife, AND show a little love to your local nonprofit educational farm! Cut your own seed heads, two for just $1!

Last chance to come grab them is this Saturday, October 24, which is also our LAST Fall Farm Fun Day of the year! Come enjoy one final day of hayrides and farm fun. And while these activities are wrapping up, there's still plenty of fall beauty to enjoy around the farm!

🎃 Our few remaining pumpkins are ON SALE! We have mostly Large and Giant pumpkins left, plus a few adorable little minis. Grab your favorites before they're gone!

The last Fresh Flower Bouquets of the season!

Just LOOK at these gorgeous fall colors! 😍 Our flower fields have treated us to an incredible season of beautiful blooms, and they're going out with one last burst of color!

Want to bring a little of that beauty home? Stop by the Farm Shop and grab a bouquet for just $15 while they last! And tomorrow is one of our Fall Farm Fun Days! Come enjoy a hayride and some fall fun, then pick up one of these beauties on your way out!

Our turkeys are raised right here on the farm, enjoying fresh air, sunshine, and plenty of room to roam. They forage for seeds, bugs, and weeds, with their diet supplemented by non-GMO feed. The result? A delicious, farm-raised turkey you can feel good about serving to family and friends!

Our hearts are full of sunshine and gratitude after another wonderful Sunflower Festival at Gorman Heritage Farm!

To everyone who joined us, THANK YOU! Whether you wandered through the sunflower fields, picked the perfect bouquet, enjoyed the festivities, or simply soaked up a beautiful day on the farm, you helped make this year's festival something truly special. Sponsor a Turtle & support local wildlife conservation!

Our friends at Dino Buddies LLC are currently rehabilitating six adult Eastern Box Turtles here at the Farm as part of their work with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ ROBOTS Initiative — Repatriating Ohio’s BOx TurtleS. 🌿

After being confiscated from poor living conditions, these turtles were placed in the care of Dino Buddies, whose team is doing the hands-on work of caring for and monitoring them as they recover. Here at Gorman Heritage Farm, they also get to enjoy plenty of fresh, farm-grown produce! 🥬🐢

The goal? Once they’re healthy and ready, they’ll be returned to the wild. 🌳

Now, Dino Buddies is giving you a chance to be part of their journey through their Sponsor a Turtle program!

Individuals, families, classrooms, nonprofits, and businesses can choose one of the six turtles to follow throughout the year and receive updates from Dino Buddies about their turtle’s care, progress, behaviors, and milestones.

Join us and our friends at DinoBuddies for a nighttime adventure at Gorman Heritage Farm! We'll head out on the trails in search of salamanders and other nocturnal wildlife, all while helping with a community science project tracking these fascinating little creatures!

It's your chance to explore the farm after hours, discover the wildlife that calls it home, and contribute to real conservation research!

There's something magical about autumn on the Farm, the warm golden hues, changing leaves, and beautiful shapes of the season. Why not capture a little of that beauty with a paintbrush?

Join us for Autumn in Watercolor, a relaxing, beginner-friendly workshop led by local artist Jayne Kennedy! You'll learn basic watercolor techniques while creating your own nature-inspired artwork. Whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the first time or just looking for a creative evening, this class is for you!

Little Farmers Storytime is back for fall!

Bring your favorite little farmer to the Farm for stories, songs, sensory exploration, and hands-on adventures designed especially for curious kids ages 3–5 and their caregivers.

We’re kicking things off THIS THURSDAY with S is for Sunflower! Little Farmers will climb aboard a hayride, head out to the sunflower field, explore sunflowers and seeds up close, enjoy a story together, and even choose a sunflower to take home. 🌻

F is for Fall!
Join us Thursday mornings from 10–11 AM as we explore a different part of fall on the Farm:

🌻 Oct. 8 — S is for Sunflower
🎃 Oct. 15 — P is for Pumpkin
🌽 Oct. 22 — C is for Corn
🌾 Oct. 29 — H is for Hay

It’s storytime with a little more dirt, discovery, and farm fun. 💛
