Our second consignment in the Right on Red Sale is Lot 23, Christy’s Boss Hog 2561. He is a standout son of Red U2Q Boss Hog 2161K. Boss Hog 2561 is built with the kind of pedigree and maternal strength that progressive Red Angus programs demand. He is backed by a powerful cow family on both sides of his pedigree and offers an attractive blend of phenotype, structure, and maternal reliability. His dam, Christy’s Confidence Plus 271, is a black-hided daughter of Connealy Confidence Plus out of one of our top donors, Red U2 Jennifer 271B, an exceptional daughter of Red Minburn Copenhagen 3Y. With a 105 MPPA, she has already proven her value in production. Her first calf, a Jumpstart son, was selected to sell in the New York State Right on Red Sale before being removed due to injury, further highlighting the quality of cattle she produces. On the top side, Boss Hog 2561 traces back to the influential Beauty 113Z cow family, known throughout the breed for consistency, fertility, and production. Boss Hog 2561 offers breeders a valuable genetic package — the added maternal strength of the Boss Hog line combined with the outcross advantage of Connealy Confidence Plus in a red hide. The groundwork is already done here for producers looking to inject fresh pedigree, maternal quality, and reliability into their herd.
He sells this Saturday, April 25th, at the Seneca County Fairgrounds in Waterloo, NY.
