Busy week, shortened days, cooler weather. Babies are doing well with weaning, it's always stressful for them, moms and myself! I love my donkeys and put my all into them. I am a one woman band along with Jeff's help. This is not an inexpensive operation, I actually like to call it my expensive hobby. That being said, I've had fabulous new owners who keep me updated and provided great homes.

I'm not rushing summer by any means but the donkeys and I are loving these cool mornings!

Happy Friday! My last two foals, Miss America (meera) and Midnight Rambler. Meera is a dark brown jenny and Rambler is a black with star jack. He does carry wooly lines though he won't have a lot of long hair. Both are available along with a 13 year old jenny. All must have a like donkey companion.

Donkeys are fairing well with all the smoke from the Canadian wildfires, much better than I am. We have a wonderful breeze tonight helping control the flies. Even cleaning the stalls and pastures twice a day, those bugs are vicious!
