Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

Because cows are ruminants, they get to enjoy their Thanksgiving Day meals not once, but multiple times! Cows regurgitate their food and get to enjoy it all over again later while they're chilling in bed. In fact, they spend around eight hours/day chewing their cud.

We're very thankful for our ladies and the great team we have that keeps them happy all year around.

On this beautiful first day of spring, we started getting our fans and sprinklers ready for another season of cooling cows in warmer temperatures! Did you know that the ideal temperature range for dairy cattle is between 41°F and 68°F? Once the temperature rises above this range, cows get uncomfortable, eat less, and ultimately produce less milk. That's why we work hard to keep the ladies as cool and comfortable as possible!

For the past half year Ana has interned at our dairy. She came all the way from Brazil to learn about farming in the United States! We would like to thank her for all her hard work taking great care of our cows.
