We are a small breeding farm located in the heart of Florida's horse country. The farm is run and maintained by the husband and wife team of Rodney "Boomer" Rowles and Talia Rowles.

✨California Cotton update✨
Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve given an update on our sweet girl. “Cotton” has settled well into retired life and has actually become boss mare in a field of older broodmares (which isn’t a small task!). She retired 100% sound, and after a 6 month lay off and proper let down, I’ve begun playing around with her here and there. She has an amazing brain and has taken to everything quite well. She’s been coming up in the barn everyday, gets groomed on, and then we do some ground work in the riding ring. Even though she’s been great, I’m taking things super slow. I think she’ll be ready for some light undersaddle work in the next few weeks. Her trot on the lunge is to die for, so I really can’t wait to see what she looks like undersaddle! Stay tuned for updates ✨

After a four month relaxing let-down, California Cotton began training yesterday for her new career as a hunter jumper. Her first session on the lunge went really well... it’s like she never missed a beat.
We’re still so happy that she was able to make her way back home to us. We’ll keep you updated on her progress over the next year. Our hopes are for Talia to compete her in the TIP divisions as well as the RRP makeover in 2020.
