These babies are loving the space the outdoor brooder offers! I don’t have power to the chicken yard just yet so I stapled feed bags to the very back for a wind & rain block to try to keep them warm & dry. It seems to be working, the babies are doing great & im so glad to see them thriving & growing 🥹🩷

🌊 Wonderful Days of JOY Challenge – Day 21

The challenge: Share a picture every day for 30 days of something from the past or present that brings you homesteading joy!

Day 21: My little farm cat, Minnie Mouser 🩷 I was so afraid when we moved she would not be ok. I was afraid she would run off, roam & get lost. But my girl knows home is wherever we are & she’s been stuck to me like glue & spends her free time lounging on her new back porch 🫶🏼 I love this little cat so much! My little mousie girl 🐭

🌊 Wonderful Days of JOY Challenge – Day 16

The challenge: Share a picture every day for 30 days of something from the past or present that brings you homesteading joy!

Day 16: I moved a bunch of babies yesterday off to the grow out pen & these were some of them! These are BC2 babies from Shady Magnolia Homestead & they are stunning! The mossy thing they’ve got going on is so unique to me! I think that’s why I loveeeee rainbow layers! Aside from the beautiful eggs they lay these birds have no uniform look. There’s so many different colors & patterns they can be & none of them are incorrect. I love the surprise plumage & uniqueness each one has 🥹🤎
