May not seem like much but we put in some serious work yesterday! Got 1 pen moved, 3 more put up, the land cleared all around them so we can fence things off for the chicken yard. Tied them together with tin also. It’s been a lot & still more to go. So thankful my husband helped make this happen! I could not have done it alone 🙌🏼

I’m so overwhelmed by the love my friends have shown me 😭 I cannot waitttt to show you guys what is coming at Heckman Hill this weekend 🥳 So much work to do but it’s going to be so worth it!! 😭🙌🏼

Back to scrambling to fill the incubator. Something took half of my grow out brooder babies & I am so upset 😭💔 We’ve been working so hard to make the pens we have up right now safer! We haven’t lost anymore Praise the Lord but now I’m down to little to nothing 😭
& almost everyone has slowed down at this point of the season 🥺 Working hard to get the chicken yard together & ready so when the fall chick season arrives I can hatch all the babies & everything be in order!! Pray for me & my poor husband bc I’m about to work him to death in this chicken yard & he doesn’t even know it 🫣😅
