Our Story

Founded by Mickey and Barbara Bates and opened on January 2, 1988, we have been in the same location serving the citizens of central Alabama for over 30 years. Mickey and Barbara’s son Jarrad began full time after graduating from Chilton County High School and has moved into executive management. The Bates family has been in the farm equipment business for over 40 years in central Alabama so we are no strangers to the people in the area and we know the needs of the farmers and property owners. Since we are still family owned and operated we take pride in what we do and do it right the first time.
