Here is a humble bouquet of wildflowers on my kitchen table that my son picked. From where were they picked? From the acreage that was converted to native grass and wildflowers. They have finally arrived!

A new veggie for us - yard-long beans. The beans are climbers and grow from these little purple flowers. They're ready to be harvested when about pencil thick and 12" to 18" long.
