🐷 Foraging at the Farm: Pasture Walk .... Plus Tinctures & Teas Demo on Friday from 9 to 11am (tickets $12 and bring a friend for free) 🐷

🐷 Farm School from 2 to 3pm for homeschool families ($39 for a family season pass) 🐷

🐷 Lots of new and restocked items in the farm store including our own grass finished beef steaks, new uncured sliced ham, lots of eggs from our farm, and lots of pumpkins 🐷

Next month I get to return to the beautiful Turtle Island Preserve in Boone for a hands-on workshop all about LARD. Join me at this 1,000-acre off-grid site to render lard, cook with this nourishing fat, and take home a lard candle that you’ll customize during the event. Get tickets directly from their site when sales open soon!

Super excited to announce another great POP-Up Class. November 14 is the date to save. Melissa from https://www.truecutranch.com is headed up to Turtle Island to teach "Lovely Lard". More details coming soon...but we will be rendering lard, cooking with it and candle making...all in a day with goodies for you to take home. Stay tuned for all the details coming soon...there is a catch though, we must have 10 folks sign up in order for the class to make, so tell all your friends and come join us for a great day in out wood fired outdoor kitchen!
